21 Roses @ Monday, December 30, 2013

Monday 23rd December

Watched the Duchess. For the costumes (18th Century), the story was meh. Loving big hats though the overall atmosphere when not partying was gloomy. Saw Voldemort but didn't recognize him again, he looks very different not blue and with a nose.

It doesn't feel like a Monday, that'll change when we start the hw due tomorrow!

Found out about an offer that started early dec but didn't know about till now. :( If only I had know about it earlier. Since I found it late we only got one use out of it. Could have gotten this, this or this for under $16 each. But I did get Benefit 'gimme brow' for $12! Cheaper than back home ($22). It's $32 at Myer.

There about about 8 people waiting and only 2 girls working at the counter so we had a fast transaction, will go the the city store to ask how to use it and all. Also hoping to get skincare samples.

Had lunch on the way, loved the salmon on rice. Crispy chicken was meh. Not a fan of food court food. Craving nachos but not sure if I was up to trying Salsa's as I really like MadMex.

Passed Breadtop, love their rainbow cake. How do you move the layers without it crumbling? I suppose there's a giant cake slice mover thing? One day we shall make a rainbow cake! Think this one was $40, and small slices sold for $4.50. One flavour, I asked.

Not my picture. Baubles should be gifted early December. :P

Half an hour late to work (bus was late). Work was ok, the girls were nice. I swear I've met or at least hear one of them before (voice recognition is better than face for me). Or perhaps she reminds me of someone. Some people have a commanding air about them, we met mrs bow maker again (she's very good at making bows). I don't like that she has a way of doing certain things and is the enforcer. What's the chance someone is going to grab the scissors and stab themselves? Other than my exs. Resulting in the org being sued. A few people thought the service was free, and the other girls charged the wrong amount. I like to tell them upfront. Some didn't want to pay and ran off. Would it be wrong to get them to pay first?

Priceline, organized the "cart" so we all the stuff ready for checkout on the 26th. The girl said I was buying too much ($200+) and shouldn't as products will become old, and they're always getting new stock. Got everything I wanted except the face mask.

Dinner at the food court *le sigh* not my decision. Seafood noodles were drenched in oil, couldn't finish it. But the TimTam drink was great as always. :) Next time I'm picking where we have dinner.

Thursday

Birthday Wishes from: Super social involved in everything guy from school (we've done events together, but I doubt he remembers me). Lady from events (don't normally add adults from events, but she's cool), Ms cards & miss j, Toby, jas, fernando, sister, le beau & co (first ones, texting from Fiji). 13. Looks like I'm slightly more social than my Christmas cards indicate. :P

As I'm not a morning person we didn't sleep last night :P watched 'Great Expectations' the first part is set very close to Christmas. If Biddy looks familiar that's because she's Lavender Brown (HP). Does anyone else find it odd that Joe married her when she's just a bit older than Pip? Also why didn't Miss Havisham go out and kill the guy or have him taken care of instead of curling up inside her castle and being all bitter.

Not sure if we should have candles at our wedding now...

Went shopping.

When we got home there was a box of roses on the table! A dozen red roses with baby's breathe! I love it! Emailed le beau, and he said it was meant to be 21 roses, and one of them was meant to be a crepe paper rose... But still I love it! This is the crepe rose, except he bought it in dark red.

Loving the tripod. Need to take it to the city next Dec.
