DIY Room Spray - Cranberry @ Thursday, April 04, 2013

No that's not flash, it's a rare glimpse of natural sunlight.

This is a re-post of post I did last year, but with a better picture. :P

You'll need
8 drops Fragrance Oil
1 tbsp Rubbing alcohol/Witch Hazel
100ml Spray bottle
Filtered/Bottled Water

Method
1. Place 8 drops of essential oil in a spray bottle.
2. Add a tablespoon of alcohol to the bottle. (use a funnel)
3. Fill the rest up with water.
4. Shake. Allow it to sit for a few hours before using.
5. Shake before use.

Store it in a cool dry place. Don't forget to shake before each use. ;)

Notes
We used Isocol Antiseptic Rubbing Alcohol 345mL $9.71 (Coles) and Cranberry Joy Home Fragrance Oil 10 ml $10  (Body Shop). With oils, you need quality stuff. We bought the white spray bottles from the Reject Shop (3 for $3) and purple bottles, 10 pack for $5 from ebay. With the purple bottles they explode on impact, as jas discovered.

I actually went out to buy a spray bottle to try this out and I had my ingredients mixed and everything and then I found out the pump in the bottle actually didn't work. I took it as a sign that my room will smell like dog forever.

Hope you can get a refund for the bottle :( Always try before you buy. ;)
