A few months ago on the way to the library we came across a new Indian place.
I see a bar!
Though didn't visit till about two weeks ago, as with a 60% rating on urbanspoon we hesistated. One morning, a Wednesday while checking out lunch options at the apartment we came across a 15% first order by ordering take-away (pick-up) through using menulog.
This place has the best deco at an Indian place I've seen, as most are plain.
Fairy lights are always a good idea, I'd like to come back when it's dark. This place is open from b'fast (Mon-Fri 9am) to brunch (weekend 11am) till 1am! Perfect for a midnight snack any day of the week, though that is abnormally long hours!
Edit: Check when they're open in the morning, because that sign above and the times on their website don't match.
There's normal tables & chairs, comfy chairs and strange chairs, though not hipster looking.
Punjabi Butter Chicken ($13.50) & Naan ($1.80)
I had the the butter chicken which was a bit hot but very good (I'd get that again) while the naan was ok, leaning towards soggy but not - this is because it was in the foil, next time we'll get eat in.
Service was good. We'll be back, for dinner sometime.
They have specials! On a very hard to read sign when it reflects...
Should have gone with a chalkboard.
ReplyDeleteAwesome looking very tasty and delicious Yumm!
